We also have an outdoor area perfect for gatherings.

Good to know

Guests must access the property through the front door (the left door of the duplex when facing the building). There is one covered, gated and off-street parking spot available per guest., Fairview Street (the duplex faces Fairview Street) has free and relatively safe parking for guests. The upstairs patio is completely yours. The downstairs patio and covered parking area are shared by other guests. We own and operate the two adjacent duplexes to the West. The total property has 15 king beds, 9 bathrooms and can sleep 30+ comfortably.

We had to unexpectedly extend a trip to Houston, and were really lucky to find Jake's property. The apartment was lovely, quiet, and clean, and the whole family felt really at home. The beds are incredibly comfortable (I asked Jake what mattress brand he uses!). Jake was also really responsive. Communicative and proactive when working to solve an (entirely out of his control) wifi issue. We felt very well looked after by the host. Very pleased with the stay and would definitely book with Jake again.

Fairview always does a nice job. I've stayed in a couple of there places and hosts do an amazing job of communicating with their guests proactive. The places are clean and well kept. Host seems to be on top of all maintenance in these places. They are a bit older (given the neighborhood the are in) but not dated. Clean. Clutter free. Just as the pictures indicate and the descriptions of the amenities and close to things to do. They walkable to a couple of good places, namely, Common Bond Bakery (great coffee) and the Anvil Bar (great bourbon selection). Enjoyed our stay.

Was a great stay. Had no issues with my neighbors or anyone in the area. The duplex was beautiful. Really felt like a home away from home. I didn’t have any issues with anything I used in the unit. He responded back in a timely manner to all messages and was a great help. Definitely will be coming back again!!!

What a great property in the heart of Houston. Located in the Montrose area, this place has walking access to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, dry cleaners, food, even a hardware store. Access to all the major highways is nearby. Just an excellent place to set up and do your Houston activities whether business or pleasure. Next time you're in town, stay here.

This was a great stay! Very nice two-bedroom, upstairs apartment in a terrific area with lots of stuff to do within walking distance. The place itself is clean and cozy, but also fairly spacious and it was great to have both kitchen and laundry since we were traveling with a baby and a dog.

Location

We are located ~ 25 miles from the Houston IAH airport (approximately 35 – 45 min drive). For the ease and convenience of exploring the city, we recommend guests have a vehicle. There are covered and gated parking spots for two vehicles. Alternatively, METRO is Houston’s public transportation system that includes buses and light rail. Feel free to use their website to plan your transportation needs.
